MSP Airport Job Fair, MSP Airport

We are excited to announce that TSA is hosting a recruiting event for full- and part-time Transportation Security Officers (TSO) at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. A job with TSA offers stability, growth potential and great federal benefits.

This event is open to the public and will include the opportunity to accelerate the
TSO hiring process. No previous security experience is required! 

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend an information session and may be eligible to receive assistance with completing the application, take the Computer Based Test (CBT) and participate in an Airport Assessment.

Pay starts at $22.97 per hour. Salary will increase to $61,966.49 after 2 years with TSA.

Join us for our Community Resources and Job Fair, where you can explore a wide range of CLUES programs, and connect with local employers eager to hire talented individuals from our vibrant community.

HAP Job Fair, HAP

HAP will be hosting another in-person job fair!

DATE: Saturday, June 24th

TIME: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

LOCATION: 1075 Arcade Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

We are partnering with about 20 employers from many different industries including IT, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Service Industries. Some of these employers include,  Childrens MN, Goodwill-Easter Seals MN, TSA, VitalPath, Integer Holdings Corp., City of St. Paul Police, Fire and EMT Departments, and many more. We have employers who will be hiring youth and adults. No preregistration is required because all registration will be done at the event.

HAP is also partnering with a HR expert who will be supporting job seekers with resume review/consultation(first-come, first-served basis).

Here it is, the 3rd annual outdoor job fair at Allianz Field with over 30 employers!

Train for a New Career, Goodwill Easter Seals

Industry-specific training programs help expand the skills and qualifications needed to start a new career in just 8 - 12 weeks (eligibility screening and entrance test are required prior to enrollment). 

  • Enroll in trainings in high demand fields in automotive, construction, business services and financial industry at no cost.

  • Earn industry certificates, college credits and connect with employers with hiring and advancement opportunities.

  • Receive stipends or training wages while enrolled in select courses.

Equipment Service Worker, Metropolitan Airports Commission

Salary: $21.51-$31.50/Hour

Location: 6025 28th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Closing: June 16th, 2023, 3:00 PM

The equipment service worker completes routine maintenance and service on cars, trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and shop equipment.  This includes changing oil and oil filters; greasing and lubricating vehicles and equipment; inspecting, rotating, balancing and replacing tires, checking and maintaining fluid levels, and detailing equipment. This position may also assist mechanics with minor repairs.

Equipment Mechanic Specialist, Metropolitan Airports Commission

Location: 6045 28th Avenue South, Minneapolis Minnesota

Our airport mechanic specialists fulfill our purpose by ensuring our unique fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment are running and up to the task.  On any given day you could be working with traditional trucks and autos, police vehicles, firefighting and crash-rescue equipment, front-end loaders, multi-functional vehicles, row crop tractors, snowplows, sweepers, mowers, and more!

Plasterers, Tremco

Tremco is looking for applicants for their two plasterer positions in the Brooklyn Park area.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum 1 year of experience in plastering or troweling desired. Basic knowledge of the construction industry, including products, tools, equipment, and terminology as well as ability to read and follow plans/blueprints desired. High school diploma is preferred, but not required.  Hourly wage is between $26 and $30.75/hour, based on experience.

Native American Curriculum Training, Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center

Dates: Wednesday, June 7th - Friday, June 9th

Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: MIWRC - 2300 15th Ave S

NAC training is mainly for substance use disorder and prevention counselors who work with at-risk Native community members. It is also for non-Native professionals who serve Natives to become trauma-informed on Indigenous experiences and backgrounds.

A meal will be provided.

30,000 Feet Juneteenth Block Party

Date: Sunday, June 18

Join us for the Juneteenth Block Party at 30,000 Feet Center!

30,000 Feet is a nonprofit organization that looks to empower African American students in Saint Paul through culture, art, technology, and social justice.

We want to welcome everyone to come join us as we celebrate Juneteenth with an eventful day! This is a free community event. We will have live music, food trucks, free food, video game truck, bouncy houses and more. There will also be several community resources such as job opportunities, housing, life insurance, and more!
